Today is Sunday, after done my housework i had brunch with my gf, and I saw a friend who is a hawker youngster, who also driving a Satria GTi, before i wanted to ask him to be careful his car due to the incident happen to me on New Year Eve, he tell me to be careful first..
It is because his car rear lock also broke by the "gang" and he is lucky too.. Looking at the mark and the way they took out the lock, it is the same as mine, Raj and also this young man.
What the heck, they wanted to steal every single Satria GTI in penang and some of them got stolen, what the Police can do from avoiding this to happen?? And what as a GTI & R3 owner can do to against this "gang"??
For those who driving their car with all the expensive thing/gadgets in your car (no matter what car)... Eg like Recaro Seat, RSM, AFC, Defi meter etc.. Please be more careful. Especially Satria GTi and R3.
Below are some of my suggestion to you guys that what can be done:
1. Take out your rear boot lock and replace with other thing.. (Important)
2. Upgrade your alarm system (if you are using stock alarm)
3. Steering Lock
4. Don't simply park your car
5. Don't park your car at a place for a long period
6. Be more alert while you drive your car around, there might be someone following you.
