GRA Batu Kawan Penang - 27/09/2008

In the morning, i go to NG to change my engine oil to make sure my car run at good condition as its almost time for engine oil service..after that i meeting up with my GRA mate(Alvin) and crew(Robert) for lunch, after our lunch the time is still early because the event started at 3pm, we reach autocity McD at 1.40pm and we have drink and chat before we proceed. We reach Batu Kawan Stadium car park at around 2.50pm and WTF, we are the earliest participant there.

We park our car and go to the booth and see see look look, then ask some information la.. the briefing start 3.10pm and there is total of 25 drivers or participant from OA class up to OD class.

This event was sponsor by the MAM and some other that as you can see on our ride(sticker).

When we saw this road cource above we got scared and how to run lah, can we refund?? haha joking only and anyway this is not the right one.

Below is the correct way to go and much much easier but still need to remember so that no wrong course happens. And we were given total of 6 laps and will take the best lap, before this time attack we given a trial as well.

The race ended around 8.30pm and price giving as well as suvenior giving before we call it a day. We have Alvin's Friend Boon Seong using his DSLR camera for the day but i yet to receive the pictures, so i will upload once i get it.

The Result?? The result is i dun get any prize la.. 1.8 class alot of sifus like Julian Pang and more..the 2 MRS is doing fast also, their time is far far away for us to chase.

I got my self a new toy - DSLR

Finally i got myself a DSLR camera where i wanted to own one long time ago because i like to take pictures and enjoy pictures that good quality. Today(sunday) right after my GRA at Batu Kawan, i decided to get the sony alpha 200 model at my budget. it comes with 2 kit lens and i can zoom quite far, as i wish to take pictures when track day or car park race.

The first picture is the model and below are some pictures that i took after having it.. still a very very beginner and a lot more to learn.

Preparation for GRA one day before

I decided to join GRA because i wanted to have different kind of feeling besides Running on Track and car park race.. I do not know how would the course like compare to the Auto Khana that organise by MAM(FOC)i joined last year at the same venue, but one thing i believe is GRA will be more experience and systematic.

I had borrowed 2 spare rim from friend and put on my Yokohama Parada Spec2 tyre for GRA and my current tyre as spare in case anything happen.

First thing first is weight reduction process, after finish my work on friday, back to home and remove all my samples, documents, woofer, spare tyre and my rear cushion. This only took me about 20 minutes because few times i done this and EASY.. hehe..

After removing everything that needed except my amp, put on my spare rim and tyres.


Cushion that need to be stay at home, gonna get scolded again for putting the store!!

After all these changing tyre and weight reduction process, awaiting for tomorrow engine oil change at NG and i am READY for GRA!!

GRA in Penang 27/09/08

Dear all readers and those who likes motorsports, something we waiting for long and finally they had organise GRA (Grass Racing Auto Sport) in penang, location will be Batu Kawan Stadium Car Park. I do not know how interesting is this to others, but i found its good to try.

Date: 27/09/08

Venue: Batu Kawan Stadium (Car Park)

Time: 3pm to 10pm

Fees: RM100 (participation) + RM10 (License) = Total is RM110

Rules: For this round in pg, its just a trial and got no any rules that you found in the GRA webpage except for NO SEMI SLICK TYRE.

BMW Project Part 3

After some times, there are some cosmetic works done to this BMW, he had spray the lining to silver color, so that not so "uncle" and the CF spoiler is on!! Nice CF finishing..

Everything had done but the muffler tip still remain original, mana boleh?? So we quickly look for muffler tip, too bad Kiong Lee does not have this design that he want to fix at another exhaust shop.

After Muffler Tip is done, we proceed and have some DIY, sticker was provided by Tommax, thanks alot and some tint on head/signal lamp.. M3 wannabe.. haha

Car Stolen: Satria GTI WKH 1900 (Silver) & PES 5585 (Silver)

Dear readers, My 2 friends from pro-hatch just lost their cars both are Satria GTI. PES 5585 were stolen in KL Damansara 3 days ago and WKH 1900 were stolen yesterday night (Saturday) at penang upper penang road car park, when he out from clubbing at around 3am the car no longer there.. hope you guys can help to look around and the detail as per below, thanks a lot for the help.

The rim had change to mat black and look at the tinted, its not proper tint so this might help to recognise. Please call 012-4624009 (Simon)

Say NO to Nasi Kandar/Mamak Store & Greenlane Shell

I am shock when i heard that the Nasi Kandar Association support on what Ahmad Ismail said. which is "Chinese sebagai penumpang di Malaysia". In penang, other state I don't know, most of the business for Nasi Kandar comes from chinese, and if you guys chinese reading my blog, i think you should do this together.

From the time being, I will not be stepping into any mamak store/ nasi kandar restaurant anymore, why should I give the money for "you" to spend? I rather eat any other chinese food or skip the supper as on diet.

Another thing is for penangnites, the Shell petrol station in greenlane which beside used car seller (NOT THE ONE BESIDE GREENLANE MCD) belongs to Ahmad Ismail, I swear i will not pump at there anymore. Honestly I spend a lot in petrol per month.

Hope you guys know what I trying to say, why should we support them when they not supporting us..

Politics

I know what is happening but I don't know how to express here, what happen recently was BN lost teruk in penang state even the pematang pauh Anwar won. I actually quite happy because i feel its time for them to try after so many year under BN.

This Ahmad Ismail (Bukit Bendera UMNO chief) saying us chinese being the penumpang(squatters) in Malaysia. WTF ?? How can this statement come out from a guys who is already mature enough, Everyone includes malays, chinese and indians having their IC and printed there WARGA NEGARA.

Below pictures even their supporters tearing our Penang ex-chief minister Koh Tsu Koon pictures, how can you do that ??? How if we tearing any malay MP picture in front of the media, i don't know what happen to that person i think..
